ABOUT THACS & Southdown
Southdown Plantation & Museum is owned by the Terrebonne Historical & Cultural Society (THACS), a non-profit organization founded in 1972, that preserves and promotes the history of the Southdown Plantation House and Terrebonne Parish's culture and arts through exhibits, education, and special events at Southdown Plantation & Museum.
THACS and Southdown Museum rely on fundraisers, the support of our members, local businesses, and citizens in our community to operate. There are many ways to donate to Southdown, and every little bit we receive helps!
